Cornea Services signing agreement with International University of Kuwait (IUK) — May 2023
On 15th May 2023 Cornea Services and International University of Kuwait (IUK) signed a Cooperation Agreement to further develop a broader Partnership Program, aiming is to strengthen the established cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Norway within education and R&D. The parties will mutually move on with development and implementation of comprehensive multi-discipline student programs, theoretical and practical courses and training, linked with defined R&D programs.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed in the presence of Managing Director of IUK, Prof. Mohamad J. Terro and CEO of Cornea Services AS, Mr. Tor Kragh Fosse.

Cornea Services AS signing agreement with University of Khartoum — January 2020
On 20th January 2020 Cornea Services and University of Khartoum, Consultancy Corporation (UKCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a close cooperation to mutually provide Multi-discipline Consultancy Services together with a comprehensive Training and Competence Enhancement program for the domestic and international market.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Managing Director of UKCC, Dr. Quosay A. Ahmed and CEO of Cornea Services AS, Mr. Tor Kragh Fosse.

Cornea Services with its Norwegian team was invited by KPC CEO for a personal briefing
On 4th January 2018 Cornea Services with its Norwegian team was invited by KPC CEO, Mr. Nizar Al-Adsani for a personal briefing.
During the meeting Mr. Al-Adsani gave an update on the current status and plans of the future development of the Kuwaiti oil & gas sector.
Relevant topics were discussed and the team received valuable guidance on the further development of the established cooperation between the parties

Official delegation from the Kuwait Oil Company to the Kingdom of Norway
In order to open the door of cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Norway and with the support of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, a series of technical workshops were held in Kuwait to develop this relationship and culminated in the last visit on 2-6 July 2017 by an official delegation from the Kuwait Oil Company to the Kingdom of Norway.
The delegation was led by Ahmed Al-Aidan, Executive Vice President of Drilling and Technology, Director of Research and Technology Jamal Al-Hamoud, Head of Research and Technology Group, Jasim Al-Kandari,
The visit is aimed at building a bridge of cooperation and identifying the capabilities of Norwegian companies through field visits. The team has been acquainted with the Norwegian experience of offshore fields in order to enrich their experience in the field of Kuwait Oil Field Strategy.

GUST meets with Norwegian Ambassador to develop Academic Cooperation
Kuwait City, June 15th – 2017: H.E. the Norwegian Ambassador to the Kuwait, UAE and Qatar, Mr. Jens Eikaas, paid a visit to GUST. He was accompanied by CEO of Cornea Services, Mr. Tor Kragh Fosse. The delegates were received by Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Salah Al-Sharhan, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, Professor Ali Ansari, and the Dean of College of Business Administration, Professor Antonis Simintiras, to discuss academic cooperation between GUST and Norwegian universities and institutions.
During the visit, the two parties agreed to seek the potential development of academic cooperation and stronger ties between GUST and Norwegian universities, as well as other educational institutions in Norway.
Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Salah Al Sharhan, said, “GUST is a major contributor in the field of higher education in Kuwait. Our focus lies in providing modern day learning techniques that are in accordance with the highest international standards through all means possible. By partnering with esteemed academic institutions and international corporations, and drawing on their experiences, we are able to maintain a versatile rich learning environment for our students.”
The Ambassador and his delegates were also given a grand tour of the state-of-the-art university campus and its notable facilities, including the A.M. Al Refai Library, W6 conference hall, and other university halls and divisions.

Ledelsen i KOC er for tiden i Norge for å besøke norske industri- og forskningsaktører innen olje- og gassektoren og for å diskutere utvikling av et veikart for Kuwaits offshoresatsning.

Kick-off the “Kuwait O&G Roadmap Project”
In the light of the Memorandum of Understanding supported by the Kingdom of Norway , entered into between Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries with Cornea Services in February 2016,
for cooperation in the areas of research, development and technology for the oil and gas industry, and under the directions of its Chief Executive Officer of KPC Mr. Nizar Al-Adsani and the Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Mr. Jamal Abdulaziz Jaafar, an official delegation from KOC arrived to Norway on the 2nd of July 2017. In addition to highlevel official meetings, the aim for the visit was to Kick-off the “Kuwait Offshore O&G Roadmap Project” and to form a combined Steering Committee to lead integrated Working Teams for development and implementation of the Kuwaiti Offshore O&G strategy under the directions of the MoU.
The KOC delegation headed by Mr. Ahmad Jaber AlEidan – DCEO Drilling & Technology, was welcomed by H. E. the ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Kuwait, UAE and Qatar, Mr. Jens Eikaas. The ambassador was heading the delegation from the Norwegian side as the Highest Level patronage to this visit and throughout the whole program which also included official meetings with the Norwegian Deputyminister of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy-minister of Oil & Energy
